Maudie “Gayle” Clark, 79, of Rockport, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her home.
Gayle was born in Bluff City, Kentucky on February 8, 1944, to Doris and Jodie Mae (Clement) Donahoo.
She had been a secretary for IAMAW Pension Fund for many years. Gayle loved the Lord and was an active member of church where she played the piano. She followed this order of life, God, Family, and Music. Her acronym was J.O.Y. Jesus First, Others Second, Yourself Third. She loved her family, and enjoyed crafts and recipes.
She and her husband Ralph enjoyed watching the hummingbirds from their front porch.
Gayle is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Clark; sons, Jeff Cooper of Evansville, Rick Cooper and his wife, Emilee of Newburgh, Michael Shawn Clark and his wife, Angel of Florida, and Raymond Clark and his wife, Allison of Bicknell; grandchildren, Blake Cooper, Brooke Cooper, Jayden Cooper, Brendan Clark, Tyler Clark, Jayden Clark, and Braley Clark; many extended family and friends.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Dr. Garrett Mills officiating.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, at the funeral home.
