On Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 8:00 – 12:00 Spencer County residents are encouraged to participate in the Medicine Cabinet Cleanout Day!
Turn in your expired or unused prescriptions and over the counter medication to any of the participating volunteer fire department locations: Dale, Rockport, Santa Claus, and St. Meinrad.
The proper disposal of prescription and over the counter medication is of utmost importance!
- Don’t flush. What you flush could end up in your drinking water.
- Prescription drugs are abused more frequently than illegal drugs.
- 70% of teens obtain their drugs from friends or relatives’ homes.
