Michael “Mike” Steven Cain, 74, of Chrisney, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at his home.
Mike was born in Spencer County on March 25, 1949, to the late Carvil and Eleanor (Campbell) Cain.
Mike had been a heavy equipment operator, and enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and listening to the oldies radio station.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, James Michael Cain; and his siblings, Gene Cain, Charles Barnett and Ailene Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Beasley) Cain; his children, Michael and Michelle; his siblings, Fred Cain, Ellis Cain, Anita Christmas and her husband, Don, Kathy Valdez, and Mary Roy and her husband, Russell; his stepchildren, Shannon Smith and Billie Hargis; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 31, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home-Youngblood Chapel, 36 E. Market St., Chrisney, with Deacon Mike Waninger officiating.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
