It’s a tri-state tradition — Mt. Zion’s 39th Annual Apple Fest will return this Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, at AEP Honey Creek Farm, located on US 231 and 1249 E. CR 500 N near Rockport.
Hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Parking is $3 per car.
The festivities will include food booths, entertainment and a children’s game area. LakeView Orchard apples and Birchler Farm mums will be available for purchase. Food featured at the event will include pork tenderloin sandwiches, ribeye sandwiches, chicken and dumplings, walking tacos, Polish sausages, chili dogs, burgers, soups, and much more, along with numerous desserts — including Indiana’s largest apple pie and apple butter, jelly and jams.
George Grose & The Boys will perform Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Beginners Luck will entertain attendees on Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. And Cloggers will take the stage from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
A unique mix of one-of-a-kind items such as handmade jewelry, art, birdhouses, hand-painted silk scarves, candles, wood items, holiday decor and more will be available for purchase at the Fest as well.
