Nina Lee Schoolcraft, 84, of Chrisney, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her home.
Nina was born in Troy on August 24, 1939, to the late Hermon and Elsie (Weller) Jordan.
Nina was a 50+ year member of Chrisney Baptist Church and had just received her 50-year pen. She was a hospice volunteer for 23 years, and had worked at G.E., retiring after 25+ years of service.
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and solving puzzles. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandbabies, and her precious dog, Zoey, tremendously.
In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Schoolcraft; her son, Tim Schoolcraft; and her grandsons, Christopher Sandage and Cody Sandage.
She is survived by her children, Jacquie Burgess and her husband, Ronnie; Nancy Morris and her husband, Kim; her granddaughters, Valerie Morris and Tosha Morris; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Schoolcraft; and her sister, Betty Summers.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday, December 15, at Chrisney Baptist Church, 308 S. Main St., Chrisney, with Pastor Eddie Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 14, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home- Youngblood Chapel, 36 E. Market St., Chrisney.
