Norman Gene Stateler, 81, of Rockport, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.
Norman was born in Rockport on October 3, 1942, to Joseph and Zella (Colmon) Stateler.
He worked at Alcoa in the shipping and packing departments, retiring after 36 years of service.
Norman enjoyed working outside, hanging out with family, and loved his pets and Blues music.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wives, Carol Stateler and Susie Stateler, and his sister, Marva Stateler.
He is survived by his children, Jeff Stateler (Tim), and Jeanette Cupra; his grandchildren, Trey Addis and Levi Cupra (Grace); his great-grandchildren, Lainee Addis and Koltyn Addis; his sister, Geri Mayo (Willy); his stepchildren, Brian Enlow and Cheri Boop; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 14, at The Comfort Inn in Rockport, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. All family and friends are invited.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
