Paddle Perry to host Earth Day clean-up

Make an impact this Earth Day with Paddle Perry as they prepare for the boating season by cleaning up the boat ramps around the county! This event will take place on Saturday, April 22.

This event is free and welcomes all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

They will split up into five teams and tackle five-plus locations in the county. Team leaders will recruit participants to join them at their destination and may have extra details to share. Sign up for the team of your choosing online at tinyurl.com/PaddlePerryEvents23.

Team 1: Paul Miller at Cannelton Boat Ramp at 9 a.m. CDT

Team 2: Mark Luecke at Derby Boat Ramp, Mano Point, Rainbow Lake at 9 a.m.

Team 3: Kelly Hess at Rocky Point Boat Ramps at 1:30 p.m.

Team 4: Stefan McConnell at Tell City Boat Ramp at 2:30 p.m.

Team 5: Linda Crawford at Troy Boat Ramp at 9 a.m.

Bags, gloves, sanitizer and reach and grab sticks will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

This event is part of the ORSANCO annual Ohio River Sweep.

Participants will be required to sign a waiver.
