Pastor George A. Hagan, 86, of Grandview, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at the Heritage Center in Evansville.
Pastor Hagan was born in Grandview on July 11, 1936, to George Wandel and Cassie Alice (Byrne) Hagan.
Pastor Hagan was a graduate of Bob Jones University in the early 1950s and went on to pastor in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Carol Georlene Penberthy; and siblings, Madge Shourds, Paul Hagan and Elsie Siefert.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Barbara Hagan; son, Wandel Hagan and his wife, Donna; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Jeniece, Julia, Jonathan, Erin and Isaiah; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Garrett; extended family, Phil Siefert, Mary Moll, Judy Whitney, Lisa Brooks, Gary Shourds and Marilyn Neal.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, September 10, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Newtonville.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 9, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
