Patricia Marie “Patty” Cochenour, 62, of Lamar, Indiana passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Patricia was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on September 12, 1961, to the late John Patrick and Dorothy Marie (Seib) Head.
She was a 1979 graduate of South Spencer High School and a 1980 graduate of Owensboro Junior College of Business. In earlier years, Patricia enjoyed working at the American Legion Post 254 in the Bingo Hall and Eck Miller (1980-2000) until it closed down. She was a member of Spencer County 4-H Association and was the Office Manager for Spencer County Purdue Extension Office.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Stephen Cochenour, whom she married on January 26, 1985; her children, Christopher Stephen Cochenour (Katrina),Ryan Patrick Cochenour (Mallory),and Alexandria Lynn Oser (Shane); her grandchildren, Noah, Eli, Silar, Claire, Tucker, and Adler Cochenour, Opal Marie Oser and Remi (grand-dog); her siblings, Stephen Head (Jennifer), Donald Head, and Angela Haynes (Justin); her nephew, Brody Heichelbech, and many other nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the funeral home. Services are 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana with Pastor Tommy Epperson officiating. Burial will follow at Clay City Cemetery in Buffaloville, Indiana.
