Perry Joseph Stallings, 68, of Rockport, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
Perry was born in Quebec, Canada on September 9, 1954, to the late Fintan and Dolores (Schipp) Stallings.
He was a 1972 graduate of South Spencer High School and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
Perry was an electronics technician and cattle farmer. He enjoyed social media, videos, blogs, and watching Netflix. He was also a supporter of firearms rights.
In addition to his parents, Perry was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Stallings, and his sister, Maria Welder.
Perry is survived by his children, Amy Stallings Peterson and her husband, Nelson, and Sara Stallings; his grandchildren, Calista Peterson, Zachary Peterson, and Sadie McCoy; his great-grandson, Noah Peterson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 15, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 547 Elm St., Rockport, with Father Ron Kreilein officiating. Burial will follow in Hackleman Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
