Philip Martin Ebelhar, 56, of Chrisney, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Philip was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on March 16, 1967, to Donnie Ebelhar and Jane (Peak) Ebelhar.
Philip worked at Superior Ag in Dale for many years and worked on many family farms in Spencer County. He enjoyed sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Cardinals and IU basketball. He also coached his children’s teams and enjoyed fishing and country music.
He is survived by his children, Whitney Ebelhar and Grant, Corey Ebelhar and Kendra, Dylan Ebelhar and Dachia; granddaughters, Harper Grace Ebelhar and Hallie Mae Ebelhar; siblings, Dwayne Ebelhar and Cathy, David Ebelhar and Larry Donoho, Kevin Ebelhar and Renee Chappell, Kelly Ebelhar and Terry, Donna Polaski and Joe; companion, Brenda Christmas; long time friends, Renee Partridge, Alan and Tawnya Fleischmann and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial is in Hackleman Cemetery in Chrisney.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Children.
