The Heritage Hills wrestling team was happy to celebrate a sectional championship.
But Patriot coach Adam Zollman said they weren’t satisfied.
They still had some work to do.
And they certainly put in some quality time on the mat at the Castle Regional last Saturday, finishing second overall and in the process advancing 10 individuals to the semi-state.
Evansville Mater Dei piled up 204.5 points to capture the regional title and was followed by Heritage Hills 144.5, Evansville North 78, Evansville Reitz 71, Castle 57, Evansville Memorial 47, Evansville Central 42.5, North Posey 37, Vincennes Lincoln 36, Tecumseh 35, Mt. Vernon 19, Washington 17, Gibson Southern 9, Boonville 0, Evansville Bosse 0, Evansville Harrison 0, Princeton 0 and South Spencer 0.
