The Lincoln Pioneer Village and Museum was blessed with a nice fall afternoon and a big crowd Saturday as the local landmark celebrated its annual Fall Heritage Day. This year’s event brought a couple new faces, as well as a returning venue. The old transportation museum, shuttered for about a decade, opened its doors to the public once again with an interpreter ready to share its history. Indeed, most every replica cabin or structure in the village had at least one volunteer pioneer in residence.
