What a ride!
It almost seemed appropriate the South Spencer and Heritage Hills boys basketball teams played their game just a stone’s throw from an amusement park — Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.
Why?
Because both squads experienced a roller coaster ride that would have rivaled The Raven, The Legend and The Voyage.
Fortunately for the Rebels, however, they enjoyed the experience a little more than the Patriots.
Class 2A, No. 3 ranked South Spencer rode through waves of twists and turns, and peaks and valleys, which ended with a dizzying 65-59 triumph over rival Heritage Hills last Saturday night in Lincoln City.
