Ramona “Jody” Howard, 64, of Birdseye, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her home.
Jody was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 7, 1959, to Vernon and Johanna (Hunter) Kelly.
She had retired from Twin Rivers in Owensboro, where she had worked as a dietary aid. She had also worked for the state highway department.
In addition to her parents, Jody was preceded in death by her brother, Rudy Jackson, and her granddaughter, Charlie Grace.
She is survived by her children, Amberly Gunter, Tuesday Divine (Chris), Bo Dallas Atchison, Pennylane Fuqua (Steven), and Samone Goldsberry (Billy); her bonus children, Angie Gunter, Crystal Kirchgessner, Charles Nix, Lucas Leslie, Eric Leslie, Jon Leslie, and Jim Staats, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michealla Moore, Kayla Swihart, Christopher Divine, Tyler Divine, Chanda Divine, Devin Burress, Chloe Atchison, Cameron Goldsberry, Caleb Goldsberry, Allyssa Goldsberry, Alicia Goldsberry, Charles McFall, Laney Trepanier, Tyler Leslie and Dakota Leslie; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Autry and Shannon Burdette, and brother, Mitch Kelly.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with Bishop Jeremiah Pitts officiating.
Visitation is 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
