Ramona Sue Foerster, 81, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home near New Boston.
She was born October 11, 1939, to the late John and Dorothy (Simpson) Talbott in Spencer County. Ramona married Arcene Foerster on October 23, 1960.
Her enjoyment was her family and taking care of everyone else. She graduated from Chrisney High School. In her early years she worked at Kroger in Tell City.
She is survived by her husband, Arcene Foerster; children, Darryl (Diana) Foerster, Evanston, Debra (Daniel) Sendelweck, Jasper, Angela (Glenn) Claiborne, Lubbock,Texas and Becky (Richard) Boehm, Evanston; six grandchildren, Molly (Jason) Oliver, Nicole (Jordan) Lammers, Lucas (Kaylyn) Sendelweck, Amanda (Jay) Downing, Lee Boehm and Heather, Boehm; three great-grandchildren, Lexi Lammers, Corbin Downing and Evangeline Oliver; and a sister, Betty (Joe Pat) Griffin, Tell City.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her a sister, Peggy Coville; a brother, Noble Talbott; and grandson, Aaron Foerster.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pastor Rodney Schmetz will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
