Robert F. Everett, 75, of Richland, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
He was born in Warrick County, on December 6, 1945, to the late Thomas and Naomi (Hall) Everett.
Robert served in the United States Marine Corps and had retired from ALCOA after nearly 35 years of service.
He was a person who loved life and loved the Lord. He wanted everyone to know his Savior and he never met a stranger. He was a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Southside Baptist Church of Boonville. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Everett of Richland; his siblings, Brenda Marts and her husband, David, of Owensboro, KY, David Everett and his wife, Melanie, of Tennessee, Mark Everett of Chandler and Linda Fridy and her husband, David, of Newburgh; his sister-in-law, Patricia Everett of Hatfield; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Dale Everett, Sr., Thomas Robert Everett, Jr., and Steven Everett.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, December 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Steve Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in James Parker Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m., Friday, December 11, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
