Romella F. (Harris) Racine, 87, passed away at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Born November 1, 1935 to the late James R. and Fern (Schroeder) Harris, she married Clifford Racine on August 30, 1958.
She was a life-long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a member of the St. John’s Ladies Aid. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and gardening.
Surviving is her daughter, Regina Schaefer (Kenny) of Tell City; her son, Randy Racine (Ann) of Tell City; and sisters-in-law, Yvonne Harris of Winchester and Imogene Lahee of Tell City. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Hannah Schaefer-Cornett (Todd) and Chris Schaefer, Dominic Bauer (Mandy) and Brian Bauer (Amanda); and two great-granddaughters, Kennedy and Audrey Bauer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Racine and brother, Carl Ray Harris.
Funeral Services were held Monday, March 20, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial immediately following in the Church Cemetery. Pastor Steve Shank officiated. Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
