Rose L. Dawson, 81, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
She was born in Rockport on April 11, 1940, to the late Carrie (Cotton) Nichols.
She was a member of Lakewood Country Club (now The Rustic) in Rockport. Rose was of the Catholic faith.
Rose is survived by her children, Brent Dawson and his wife, Jennie, and Brian Dawson and his fiancée, Jessica Obermeier, all of Rockport; her grandchildren, Stephen Dawson and his wife, Holly, and Phillip Dawson, all of Tell City; her great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Makayla and McKenzie; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rex and Rose Dawson of Danville, KY.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Max Harold Dawson, and her sister, Judy Ketcham.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Father Ron Kreilein officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
