Roy Allen Jackson, 85, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Transcendent Healthcare North in Boonville.
Roy was born in Richland on November 23, 1937, to Roy and Dorothy (Harper) Jackson.
A member of Richland Christian Church, he had served in the United States Marine Corps and was a lifelong farmer. After retirement, Roy and Joyce loved to spend their time traveling to Missouri, often attending rodeos.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edgar Jackson.
Roy is survived by his wife, Joyce Jackson, whom he married on October 28, 1962; his son, Scott Allen Jackson, of Boonville; his daughter, Kimberly Mitchell and her husband, Bob, of Dale; her grandson, Brandon Dale Miller and his wife, Tiffany; his great-grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Moore.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport with Pastor Drex Stuart officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
