Shirley Jane (Carter) Duvall, 84, formerly of Rockport, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Heartland Villa Center in Lewsisport, Kentucky.
Shirley was born in Rockport on December 30, 1937, to Billferd and Goldie (Pace) Carter. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rockport and was the pianist there for many years.
Surviving are her children, Jeff Duvall (Linda), Becky Hunter (Kevin), Tim Duvall (Chris) and Doug Duvall (Peggy), and her sister, Ruthie; Biggs.
She was an adoring grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lee Duvall; grandson, Adam Duvall and sisters, Patricia Sly, Charlene Hamilton and Norma Jean Frank.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Care was entrusted to Cardinal Cremation Society.
