Ran off road
Daniel Lane, 36, of Boonville, was northbound on SR 161 near Rockport when, he later told authorities, a southbound black Honda Civic crossed the centerline and into his lane, forcing him to drive off the roadway to avoid a head-on collision. The 2005 Dodge Ram pick-up Lane was driving struck a tree-line and sustained approximately $25,000-50,000 in damage. Lane was not injured in the July 2, 7:49 a.m. crash.
