Steven “Steve” E. Vaughn, 73, of Rockport, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Steve was born in Columbia, Kentucky, on February 16, 1948, to the late James T. and Mary A. (Hamilton) Vaughn.
He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of Rockport American Legion Post 254. He retired from AEP, where he worked as a parts manager.
Steve enjoyed 4-wheeling and hunting.
Steve is survived by his brother, Charlie Vaughn, and his wife, Joyce, of Rockport; his sister, Janis Comer of Louisville, KY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
