Terry Bailey, 78, of Rockport passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, with family by his side.
Terry was born in Owensboro, KY on December 11, 1946, to the late Lawrence “Bud” and Geraldine “Deanie” Bailey.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Bailey.
He graduated from Rockport High School in 1964 and proudly served in the U.S Air Force. He retired from AT&T and cherished his freedom. Terry was a lifelong learner, an avid supporter of conservation, and had a deep love for the outdoors and traveling.
Terry is survived by his wife, Linda Bailey; a son, Aaron Bailey and his wife, Jamie; a daughter, Cara Sorenson and her husband, Ryan; four grandchildren, Abigail Bailey, Lillian Bailey, Tyler Sorensen and Connor Sorensen; and one great-grandchild, Oliver Sorensen.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Joe Pogue, Deaconess Home Hospice, and the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville.

There will be no services. Boultinghouse Funeral Home of Rockport has been entrusted with care.
