Thomas Axton Pounds, 25, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on January 20, 1995, to Kerry Pounds and Laura Lynn Miller.
Tommy was a graduate of South Spencer High School and was employed with J. F. Shea Company, Tunneling Division in Louisville, Kentucky.
He enjoyed go-cart racing and had been a multiple year champion. He loved spending time with his black lab, Doc, being outdoors and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Lynn Miller, and his grandfather, Larry Pounds.
Tommy is survived by his father, Kerry Pounds; siblings, Amanda Embry, Ben Embry and Justin Pounds; grandparents, Susan Pounds of Rockport, and Gene and Sharon Miller of Richland; many extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 16, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport, with Pastor Tim Coomer officiating.
