The Christian Resource Center spent much of last week preparing for a huge distribution of Christmas goodies through local Toys for Tots programs. Toys were handed out Saturday to local families to give a little more festivity to the coming Christmas holiday. The CRC is one of several local organizations partnering with Toys for Tots this year, including Abe Lincoln American Legion Post 444 in Dale.
Volunteers reported a very generous year, with toys coming in from boxes set throughout this corner of southern Indiana. The big task was sorting toys by individual needs and age appropriateness.
