Bring your lawn chairs to the New Farmers’ Store at 1245 Main Street in Ferdinand on Sunday, May 20, to enjoy an outdoor public concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern (6-8 Central), featuring the soulful music of the popular Troubadours of Divine Bliss.
The venue/host is the beautifully restored Italianate building at the corner of 12th and Main in Ferdinand. The 1886 jewel—brought to new life thanks to the creative vision of Keith Fritz, owner of Keith Fritz Fine Furniture at 1440 Main—now houses an art gallery, a gorgeous loft Airbnb, a meeting hall, lounge/concert space, and more.
Light refreshments will be available, provided by Madi’s Main Squeeze and The Kitchen Jasper.
Guests will sit in the parking lot on the south side while the Troubadours serenade everyone from the new balcony above.
Admission is a free-will donation to the Troubadours.
Fritz invites guests to enter the building to see the art and architectural details: restored woodwork, stained glass, doors, windows, floors and more.
Invite your friends and look forward to a delightful evening celebrating spring, music, historic preservation, art and community.
Project ACORN, led by Rock Emmert and Kris Lasher, is honored to collaborate with host Keith Fritz in setting up and promoting this community event to which all are welcomed.
