Vanessa R. Oldham, 56, of Rockport, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at her home.
Vanessa was born on April 16, 1967, to the late Van and Shirley (Lindsey) Oldham.
She had worked at Whirlpool and loved rock and roll music.
In addition to her parents, Vanessa was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Lane Oldham and her daughter, Alma Staples.
She is survived by her brothers, Donald Oldham and his wife, Aiza, of Rockport and Monte Kelley and his wife, Reva, of Richland; her boys, Shane Staples and Skyler Staples, both of Santa Claus; several nieces and nephews, four great-nieces and four great-nephews, one great-great-niece, and one great-great-nephew.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Scott Dugas officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
