Kartoffelsalat mit Würstchen (German Potato Salad with Bratwurst)
It is now dinner time on our German Cuisine Trip and on the menu is this lovely German Potato Salad with delicious Bratwurst

– 1 tbsp vegetable oil
– 6 fully cooked bratwurst
– 1 box scalloped potatoes
– 2 3/4 cups hot water
– 2-3 tbsps white vinegar
– paprika (optional)
Directions
Heat oil in 10 in. skillet over medium heat. Cook bratwurst in oil, turning occasionally, until brown; remove from skillet and drain.
Heat Potatoes and hot water to boiling in same skillet over high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 25 mins, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
Stir in vinegar. Place bratwurst on potatoes. Cover and simmer about 3 mins longer or until hot. Sprinkle with paprika.
