William Franklin “Frank” Dowdy, 84, of Richland, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
Frank was born in Bardville, Kentucky on February 14, 1941, to William and Virginia (Bass) Dowdy.
Frank retired from Alcoa, in Newburgh, serving as a maintenance supervisor for many years. Frank was also a Mason and a member of Eureka Lodge No. 397.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Dowdy; daughters Vicky Lee (Kevin) Short and Starla Ann Armstrong; his grandchildren Erik (Jordan) Pagregan, Dylan (Jazmin) Mackey and Kole Short; his siblings Pat Surprenant, Phyllis Peterman, Lois Fattori, Nancy Harris and Alan Dowdy.
There are no services for Frank scheduled at this time.
