William Jesse Ketcham died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born August 1,1944 in Owensboro, Kentucky and graduated high school in 1962 in Rockport. William (Bill) entered the Army after high school, and later attended college in California, where he studied Manufacturing Management. Bill was an avid golfer and loved restoring old cars, watching Nascar and circle track racing.
William was preceded in death by wife Judith L. (Nichols) Ketcham in 1986. He is survived by the couple’s two sons, John C. Ketcham and Bobby J. Ketcham, two sisters, nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 27 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Mr. Ketcham was laid to rest in the National Cemetery, also in Fort Smith.
