The annual St. Meinrad Parish Fall Picnic will not be held on the church grounds on Sunday, September20. Instead, parishioners, friends and neighbors are invited to attend this year’s No-Show Picnic through livestream from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time.
All fall picnic patrons can arrive at the St. Meinrad Community Center on Sunday, September 20, 2020, no earlier than 9:15 a.m. Central Time (slow time) for pick-up.
Upon arrival, you will receive a windshield placard to guide you into the pick-up lane on the parish grounds. Patrons should remain in their vehicles to keep the risk of exposure to COVID-19 low for volunteers and others present.
Barbecue Chicken Dinners $10 (prepackaged)
Order a catered, single-serve barbecue chicken dinner available, pre-order only, for drive-thru pickup, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dinners include scalloped potatoes, slaw and green beans. Still Time To Become A Picnic Sponsor
Sponsorships of $250 and above will be recognized in pre-picnic advertising. Sponsors who donate $500 and above will be listed on the raffle ticket and receive two complimentary 2020 No-Show picnic T-shirts. St. Meinrad Parish will follow local public health department regulations and CDC guidelines for the health and safety of the limited volunteers and picnic-day guests accessing the contactless drive-thru.

Charitable gaming ticket fulfillment will be processed upon payment received. Separate contactless order request form available through parish website. Need not be present to win. First-prize cash winner of $1,000 announced after final prize is drawn. Cash prizes mailed within 10 business days.
All fall picnic preorder pickups begin at the St. Meinrad Community Center. To keep the risk of exposure to COVID-19 low for program volunteers and all others present, all patrons will receive a windshield placard upon arriving at the community center. Drivers will be directed from the community center to a pick-up lane at the intersection of 5th Street N and Brewery Street. The color-coded placard will assist traffic control officers in guiding patrons to the predetermined pick-up lane while identifying the number of pre-ordered packages to be loaded into a vehicle.
Access to Brewery Street will be limited to local traffic only from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Volunteers will be present to greet patrons, guide pick-up lanes, and load vehicles in a contactless process.
Parishioners, friends and neighbors of St. Meinrad Parish are asked to support this annual celebration. Once again, there will be an opportunity to remember and honor loved ones in the picnic honor roll. The picnic honor roll and a complete list of picnic sponsors will be featured throughout the day via livestream, on the parish website and in local advertising.
