Clara L. “Tooty” Winkler, 90, of Rockport, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
She was born on June 2, 1929, to the late William and Ethel Fern (Barnett) Mayo.
She and her husband Kenneth owned and operated Winkler Printing Company in Owensboro, Kentucky for many years.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn L. Kell and E. Jane Wagner, both of Rockport; grandchildren, Jennifer E. Kell-Shuffitt and her husband, Shane, Seth A. Wagner and his wife, Rachel, Caleb M. Wagner and his wife, Nikki and Isaac L. Wagner and his wife, Stefanie; great-grandchildren, Christian M. Wagner and Mackenzie G. Wagner; and siblings, M. Henrietta Winkler and M. Pauline Meece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Winkler, in 2012; son-in-law, Gary Wagner; and brother, Eugene Mayo.
Services for Clara Winkler will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Ron Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Rockport.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
