Susan Beier, 67, of Fulda passed away peacefully Friday, September 18, 2020, at Willowdale Village in Dale.
She was born April 14, 1953, in Huntingburg to August and Frances (Tempel) Krampe. She was united in marriage to Ronald H. Beier on September 13, 1980, in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church.
Susan was a member of Saint Boniface Parish in Fulda and its Ladies Sodality. She worked at Möbel Furniture in Ferdinand for over 40 years. She then worked at Masterbrand Cabinets for three years, until her retirement. She worked part time as a gate-house attendant at Lake Rudolph Campgrounds after retirement. She enjoyed camping and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald H. Beier; two sons, Brent (Kyla) Beier and Craig Beier, both of Fulda; four grandchildren, Rylie, Brexley, Avery and Nolan Beier; her mother, Frances Krampe of Ferdinand; one sister, Joan (Rick) Heeke of Ferdinand; and three brothers, Steve (Sue) Krampe and Mark Krampe, both of Ferdinand, and John (Donna) Krampe of Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her father, August Krampe, and a brother, Edward Krampe.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, September 23, at Saint Boniface Church in Fulda. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
