Roger F. “Woody” Woodburn, 73, of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his home.

Woody was born in Evansville on December 5, 1946, to the late Frank and Betty (Hessenauer) Woodburn.

He had served in the United States Air Force and had been a machinist at ALCOA, retiring after 39 years of service. He was also a lifelong farmer and past board member and volunteer with the Spencer County 4-H program.

He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Rockport Council No. 11165.

In addition to his parents, Woody was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Quinn.

Woody is survived by the love of his life, Sharon (Webb-Bowen) Woodburn, his wife of 53 years; his children, Sarah Kohler of Evansville and Michael Woodburn and his wife, Angela, of Tell Citya; seven grandchildren; his brothers, Randy Woodburn and his wife, Cathy, and David Woodburn.

Services have been postponed and are pending at this time. Boultinghouse Funeral Home of Rockport has been entrusted with care.
