Dorothy “Dottie” Lee Easley, 77, of Hatfield, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on June 21, 1944, to the late Walter Cunningham and Johnnie M. (Nelson) Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Easley of Hatfield; her daughter, Stacy Barnett and her husband, Micheal, of Birdseye; her son, David Shaw and his wife, Becky, of Centralia, IL; her grandchildren, Lucas Rininger, who lived with and cared for her, Eli Shaw, Kimora Shaw and Fernando Shaw.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Shaw.
A memorial service for Dorothy “Dottie” Lee Easley will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 9, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that no floral arrangements be sent; however, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
