William K. “Bill” Bosler, 95, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Lucy King Smith Hospice in Henderson, KY.
He was born in Dale, on June 9, 1926, the son of the late Clem and Olivia (Nord) Bosler. He married Evangeline Alvey on April 30, 1949. She preceded him in death in 2016.
Bill was retired from Tell City Chair Company after 38 years and later worked at Hess Electric. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a master gardener. He loved baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox, and carpentry.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet Kuntz of Osgood; sons, Gary Bosler of Tell City and Ron Bosler of Henderson, KY; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and David Bosler; brothers, Roy, Earl, Omer, Claude, Milton, Arvel and Andrew; and his sisters, Nelda Wagner and Helen Kippenbrock.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home, with burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
