Edwin L. Fritz, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, much of his extended family hailed from the Dubois/Spencer/Perry area.
Son of the late Edwin P. and Carolyn (Kessens) Fritz, he was the husband of the late June M. Fritz (nee Merhar). Also preceding him in death was his sister, Mary Ann Engel.
Ed was the loving father of Debbie Hayes, Greg (Jill) Fritz and Steve (Amy) Fritz; grandfather to David (Gabi) Fritz, Matt Fritz, Peter Hayes and AJ Fritz; and dear brother to Sister Marietta Fritz, Sister Delores Fritz, Helen Welter, Cathy Honsaker and Julie Harmeyer. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Ed was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from The Court Index Press as a Linotype operator.
A Memorial Mass was held February 24 at St. Saviour Catholic Church in Cincinna,ti OH.
