Daniel Ray Fuchs, 70, of Dale passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at The Waters Of Huntingburg. Daniel was born on June 28, 1953 in Huntingburg to Robert and Leona (Kern) Fuchs.
Daniel was self-employed in the firewood business. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a member of the Dale Legion. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp as a Lance Corporal after serving six years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and grilling.
Surviving are one son, JD Fuchs of Oak Creek, CO; two grandchildren, two brothers, Tom Fuchs of Huntingburg and Bobby (Wendy) Fuchs, Jr.; and one sister, Polly (Ralph) Wagner of Ferdinand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Ralph, Clarence and Jerry Fuchs.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, September 27 in St. Joseph Church in Dale at 11 a.m. Central Time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
