Wallace “Wally” Hall Jr., 84, of Grandview passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Wally was born in Spencer County on June 20, 1939, to Wallace and Eloise (Meece) Hall.
Wally drove a truck over the road for Cadick Poultry for over 40 years. He enjoyed his family, good conversation, cowboy movies, country music and working on his children’s cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Eloise Hall; his brother, Donald Ray Hall; sisters, Barbara Hawkins and Carolyn Sue Dunlap; and daughter, Debbie Dunn.
Wally is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie (Bunner) Hall; his sons, David (Debbie) Hall and Kevin (Lindsey) Hall; daughters, Karen (Maurice) Thomas and Kim (John) Ficker; brother, J.W. Hall; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service followed by burial in Grandview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department or St. Croix Hospice.
