Michael Kenneth “Mike” Johnson, 80, of Chrisney, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at his home.
Mike was born in Chrisney on January 7, 1944, to John and Cecil (Johnson) Johnson.
Mike was a member of Baker’s Chapel Church in DeGonia Springs. He was a lifelong farmer and crane operator. He enjoyed motorcycle racing and camping with his family.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Bennie Johnson, and great-grandson, Mason Heckel.
Mike is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marsha Johnson; children, Michelle King and her husband, Kevin, Kenneth Johnson and his wife, Missi, John Michael Johnson and his wife, Christina; stepchildren, Lisa Pitt and her husband, Dan, Melissa Litkenhus and Greg Ward and Amy Litkenhus; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, James “Jimmy” Johnson and Jean Taylor and her husband, Henry.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home Youngblood Chapel at 36 E. Market St. Chrisney, IN 47611 with Pastor Lisa Resler and Pastor Clayton Ahlmeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the funeral home in Chrisney.
