The Chrisney branch of Lincoln Heritage Public Library kicked off its summer reading program with a Backyard Blast Thursday afternoon. Inflatables were set up outside the library, including an inflatable zoo and a “wrecking ball” arena. The wrecking ball proved particularly popular as kids hurled a giant, but soft, ball at each other while trying to retain their own balance in a bouncy building.
