Debra K. (Rutherford) Schroeder, 66, of Lamar, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.
Debra was born in Barberton, Ohio on September 30, 1958, to Kenward Rutherford and Eileen (Goetz) Ashburn.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, Kenward Rutherford.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Schroeder; her children, Jennifer Cox (Trent) of Sullivan, Leah Kerber (Darin) of Huntingburg and Amanda Kelley (Mike Johnson), of Owensboro, KY; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kyra, Bailee, Kaibryn, Jocelyn, Mason, Taylor and Gatlin; her great-grandchildren, Lilah and Colton; her mother, Eileen Ashburn; her siblings, Linda Largo, Sheila Lopez and Kenny Rutherford; many extended family and friends.
Services are 6 p.m. Friday, December 13, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home- Youngblood Chapel, 36 E Market St., Chrisney IN 47611, with Pastor Steve Bennett officiating.
Visitation is 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
