Ricardo M. Garcia Sr. 57 of Pearsall, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Ricardo was born January 14, 1968, in Cotulla, Texas to Benjamin and Manuela (Martinez) Garcia.
Ricardo was a devoted and hard-working father, he was devoted to his only son Ricardo Garcia Jr, whom he loved and cherished. They were like best friends, they laughed, cried and had lots of fun memories growing up.
Ricardo is also survived by his ex-wife Inez Benda, stepdaughters Deandrea D. Benavidez and Danika R. Mata, step-grandson E.J. Benavidez, his brothers Benjamin Garcia Jr. and Daniel Garcia both from Santa Claus, whom he loved and cared for deeply, with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ricardo Garcia Sr. worked in the trucking business for 30 plus years and was very dedicated to his job. He liked to joke around and make people laugh and was the life of the party. Ricardo always helped others, even if he didn’t have it, he would find a way. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by family and friends.
Visitation will be held June 5, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, 527 Main Street Rockport, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m.
