Michael Scott Bolen Sr., 66, of Grandview, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Michael was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on December 17, 1958, to John Bolen and Marjorie (Johnson) Baughn.
Michael served in the United Army. He loved many things from fishing and westerns to shooting guns. Michael loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Bolen, and his sister, Lynne.
Michael is survived by his wife Deaira Bolen; his children, Michael (Shanda) Bolen II and Deandrea Bolen; two grandsons, Leland and Joey Bolen; his mother Marjorie Baughn; his siblings, John (Sue) Bolen and Dora Clowdus; and many other extended family and friends.
Services were held Wednesday, July 16, at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport.
Burial with military rites followed the service at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview.
