Shirley Sue Eble, 84 of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 2, 1941 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to Robert and Elnora (Bivins) Farber.
Shirley was a woman of unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married Malcolm Eble in 1974 and together they built a home filled with warmth and love.
Preceded in death by her parents, Shirley is survived by her husband of 51 years, Malcolm Eble; her children, Diana “Dee Dee” Miller (Cam), Debra Lomax (Jeff), Cynthia Jimenez (Rob), Charles Snyder, James “Dale” Eble and Jacqueline Eble Kendall; her grandchildren, Christopher Blincoe, Matthew Blincoe, Melissa Blincoe, Robert Lomax (Trina), Sarah Singh (Harry), Andrew Lomax, Jonathan Synder (Katie), Courtney Jimenez (Sean), Ashlie Eble Howell (Dewey), Joshua Eble and Brise Eble (Kodie); her great-grandchildren, Darrius Singh, Dillon Blincoe, Nick Singh, Sofia Cadiz, Carter Crooks, Alexa Eble, Emily Blincoe and Kei Lomax.
A private ceremony will be held for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested that a donation be made to the Christian Resource Center or St. Jude’s.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Boultinghouse Funeral Home has been entrusted with care.
