Shirley Dianne Everett, 75, of Richland, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Shirley was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 4, 1951, to Lewis and Betty (Cooper) Basham.
Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and watching the birds in her yard. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 30 years, where she volunteered with the Bible School program.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who passed away in 2020.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Theresa Phillips (Marion); her brothers, Wayne Basham (Cathy), Dwayne Basham (Debbie), and Bobby Basham (Stephanie); and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Reverend Steve Phipps officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is 3 until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, and from 9 until the 10 a.m. service Friday at the funeral home.
