Barbara J. DeFrees, 94, of Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Barbara was born in Anderson, on October 9, 1926, to the late Faye and Nellie (Emery) Padgett.
She enjoyed traveling and loved her family dearly.
Barbara is survived by her children, Gay Lee and her husband, Bill, of Seymour, Tia Pesko and her husband, Mike, of Vine Grove, KY, and Keith DeFrees and his wife, Donna, of Evansville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William DeFrees.
There will be no services. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport has been entrusted with care.
