Brian Scot Herrell, 52, of Rockport, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.
Scot was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 2, 1968 to Dennis T. and Sharon (Krantz) Herrell.
Scot enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a fun and very loving father and grandfather. He was a member of Hatfield United Methodist Church, Eureka MasonicLodge #397, and Labor Local 561.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Donald K. Herrell, who passed away in 2005.
Scot is survived by his parents, Dennis and Sharon Herrell of Rockport, IN; his fiancé, Kimberely Weatherholtof Rockport, IN; his children, Brandon Parks (Emily Andrews) of Louisville, KY; JanayeHerrell (Harold Floyd) of Rockport, IN; Mason Herrell of Chrisney, IN; and Mia Weatherholt of Rockport, IN; his grandchildren, Kaydence Pasco, Aiden Parks, Khloe Valentine, Hunter Herrell, Oakley Herrell, and KynzieFloyd.
Services are 1 P.M. Friday, July 3, 2020 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Hatfield, Indiana.
Visitation is from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7 P.M.
