Charles Edward McKinney, 56, of Rockport, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Hosparus Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Chuck was born on March 18, 1968, in Evansville, to Roy McKinney and Anna (Daming) Finney.
He was of the Catholic faith and had worked in home construction. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, bow fishing,and camping. He dearly loved his grandkids and his dogs.
Chuck was preceded in death by his stepdad, Jim “Pops” Finney; his stepmothers, Nancy Fortune-McKinney and Sue McKinney; his brothers, Steve Fortune, Jeff Hall and Tom Hall; and his stepsister, Shana Carnes.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Hall) McKinney; his parents, Roy McKinney and Anna Finney; his children, Jason Cava (Jessica), Kristen Bauer, Britney Steinke (Richard), Heather Vaden (Josh), and Levi McKinney; 12 grandchildren; his siblings, Nancy Bretz (Tim), Don Finney, Missy Rose (Bruce), Shawn McKinney, Tara Curry (Dave), Dana Gougion, and Angie Fortune.
Services are 4 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Deacon Tim Bretz officiating.
Visitation is from 1 until 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
